Point your camera at the barcode on the back and the title, author, pages and cover fill in by themselves. No barcode? Search by title, author or ISBN.

How you get it

It's a digital download. After you buy on Etsy, open Purchases in a web browser and click Download Files. The Etsy phone app can't download files.
Open the guide PDF and tap your private app link.
Add it to your Home Screen and open it from there. Your guide shows how, step by step.

What you need

A phone, tablet or computer with a web browser: iPhone and iPad (Safari), Android (Chrome), Kindle Fire tablets (Silk), or a Windows or Mac computer
The internet the first time you open it, and when you look up a book or load a cover
A phone or tablet camera to scan barcodes, or type the title instead

What it does NOT do

It doesn't sync between devices by itself. Use a backup file to move your books.
It doesn't connect to any book site, store or Kindle account. It reads the files they let you export.
It doesn't run on Kindle e-readers. Their browser can't run apps like this, so track those books on your phone, tablet or computer.
Book search and covers need the internet, and a few books may have no cover. Add your own photo for those.
It doesn't recommend books from the internet, and it isn't a social network.
Clearing your browser's website data deletes your books, so keep a backup file.
It's for your own use, or as a gift for one reader. Please don't post your app link publicly.

Questions

How do I add a book?

Scan the barcode on the back with your phone or tablet camera and the title, author, pages and cover fill in by themselves. No barcode? Search by title, author or ISBN, or type it in and snap your own cover photo.

Does it work on a Kindle?

It runs on Kindle Fire tablets. It doesn't run on Kindle e-readers, so track those books on your phone, tablet or computer. Kindle books can be tracked by percent or location.

Can I bring my books over from another app?

Yes. Readlark opens the .csv library export from the two book sites shown on the "Bring your books over" photo, plus your Kindle highlights. Books already on your shelf aren't added twice, and nothing you typed is overwritten.

Can I set a yearly reading goal?

Yes. Set your yearly reading goal and the ring fills as you finish books, telling you if you're ahead or behind. You can make your own mini challenges too.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. It's a one-time purchase, no subscription, with no account, no sign-up and no ads.

Can I use it on my phone and my tablet?

It doesn't sync by itself. Save a backup file and open it on the other device to move your books.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes, for one reader. Please don't post your app link publicly.

How do I get it after I buy?

It's a digital download. After you buy on Etsy, open Purchases in a web browser and click Download Files, then open the guide PDF and tap your private app link.
